The WEA's October 30 report describes a Mission Commission Global Leadership Council meeting at OMF International headquarters on October 1–2. Participants discussed how regional mission movements could be connected and strengthened, and planned a September 2027 consultation at Rosebank Union Church in Johannesburg under the theme 'The Local Church in Global Perspective.'
Some council members also participated in the fourth COALA gathering on October 5–7. COALA brings together leaders from Asia, Latin America, and Africa; the report says this gathering focused on sustainability, training, South-South collaboration, and partnerships guided by local believers rather than outside hierarchy.
The publication documents organizational meetings and stated priorities. It does not report conversion, church-planting, or other ministry outcomes from the gatherings.
